Every Announcify changelog has a public RSS feed. Point the importer at it and your posts move to Fizlog with their original dates in about a minute.

Full side-by-side: Fizlog vs Announcify.
Sign up (free for one project), create a project and open it. You need two values from the project page: the public key used in the embed snippet and the API key under "API access".
Open your public Announcify changelog and click RSS, or copy the feed URL — it looks like https://announcify.app/changelog/rss?project_id=YOUR_PROJECT_ID. The feed lists each post's title, date and text. It doesn't carry a post type, so every entry is imported as New; change the type in the Fizlog dashboard where needed.
php fizlog-import.php rss 'https://announcify.app/changelog/rss?project_id=YOUR_PROJECT_ID'
Announcify's feed contains plain text, so headings, lists and images from the original posts are not carried over. Check the dry run, then touch up formatting in the dashboard if a post needs it.
Run the importer with --dry-run first to see every entry it found, then run it again without the flag. Entries keep their original dates and are imported silently, so no webhook or subscriber email fires for old posts.
The importer is a single PHP file with no dependencies — download fizlog-import.php or read it on the guides page.
export FIZLOG_API_KEY=your_project_api_key
php fizlog-import.php rss 'https://announcify.app/changelog/rss?project_id=YOUR_PROJECT_ID' --dry-run
php fizlog-import.php rss 'https://announcify.app/changelog/rss?project_id=YOUR_PROJECT_ID'
Replace the Announcify widget code in your app with the Fizlog script tag. Without data-selector the widget shows as a small button in the corner; with it, the bell renders inside an element you choose.
<script
src="https://announcify.app/widget.js"
data-project-id="YOUR_PROJECT_ID"
data-api-base="https://announcify.app"
></script>
<script src="https://fizlog.com/widget/widget.js"
data-project="YOUR_PUBLIC_KEY"
data-selector="#whats-new" async></script>
If you used a custom domain like updates.yourdomain.com with Announcify, point it at your Fizlog page (fizlog.com/changelog/your-project) with a redirect on your side — Fizlog doesn't host custom domains. Otherwise just update links in your app, docs and emails.
Open your app and the public page, confirm the entries look right, and only then cancel your Announcify subscription.
No. Imported entries are sent with "silent": true — no webhook and no subscriber email for old posts.
Yes. Each entry is published with the date from the RSS feed, so your history stays in the right order.
Yes. The URL contains a question mark, so keep it in single quotes in the terminal, as in the command above.
Yes, but each run creates new entries. Delete the imported ones in the dashboard first, or use --dry-run until the preview looks right.
Export options per Announcify's own documentation, checked September 2026: Announcify widget docs, Announcify changelog with RSS link. Vendors change their products — if a step no longer matches, check your plan's export options.
